Time and place. The meeting was conducted at 12 noon in on USF Tampa in EDU 314 and on Zoom.
Attendance. Twenty members and one guest.

President’s Report.
- Faculty Senate Report. UFF membership is up, but higher paid faculty are leaving Florida. We are receiving reports of boards of trustees that violate bylaws and sunshine laws. Discussion of ongoing litigation.
New Business.
- Council Confirmation of Nominations. Justin Henry confirmed as chair of the Publicity Committee; Olivia Consentino and Ada Farcus confirmed as members. Greg McColm and Arthur Shapiro confirmed as co-chairs of the Bargaining Committee; Justin Henry and Cynthia Patterson confirmed as members.
- Schedule. The October 10 meeting will be at USF Sarasota / Manatee.
Reports.
- Membership. The Committee is active and is planning activities. Discussion.
- Treasury. We are solvent.
- <.b>Publicity. We will need to collect SOI cards annually. Our Instagram following has doubled. We need volunteers.
- Government and Community Relations. We need volunteers; to be discussed at this evening’s social.
- Contract Enforcement. We now have an intake form.
Good of the Order. It would be helpful to have a large turnout at the Provost’s address.
