Chapter Minutes 5 September 2025

Time and place. The meeting was conducted at 12 noon in on USF Tampa in EDU 314 and on Zoom.

Minutes. August 15 minutes approved.

Attendance. Fifteen members and one staff.

President’s Report.

New Business.

Outside Teaching. Some department chairs have informed faculty that they may not teach at other institutions.

Reports.

Membership. We will have socials on the evenings of chapter meetings.
- Motion made and seconded to allocate $1,700 to the Caregivers group for entertainment expenses. Motion approved.
Treasury. The budget was sent to members on August 18.
- Motion made and seconded to adopt the budget proposed in the August 18 Biweekly Special sent to members. Motion approved.
<.b>Publicity. The provost will address the faculty on Sept. 25 at 3 pm in the Music Hall. This is a Faculty Senate event.
Government and Community Relations. Discussion.
Collective Bargaining. Placed proposals on discrimination, grievances, and salaries on table.
Contract Enforcement. Most are being denied. Discussion.
